My mum never once told us he wasn’t real and we all just carried on tongue in cheek. It was wonderful. My sister has done the same with my nephews and they are late teens. She maintains he exists. They are fully on board with the Santa celebrations.

I’d chat to them and ask them which parts they want to keep. It all sounds great to me.
Fuck the elves though. Dreadful 😂
