ASDA Christmas delivery

Does anyone know if you can book a delivery slot and then add to your order after checkout with ASDA online shopping? I want to book a delivery slot for 22nd Dec and they have them free but I don't want to place my entire order now.

yes you can do that. just need to order at least £25 now and then update later as often as you want

You have until 5pm the day before delivery to amend your shopping list, so you can always add and delte items up til then.

Yep you can, I have just filled my trolly with booze, and will then change it all a couple of days before it is delivered.

Sorry, just noticed it says this on the website.

"The slot will be reserved until you checkout or 3 hours have passed. If you haven't checked out within 3 hours you'll need to reserve the slot again."

So I need to checkout and then amend the order, is that right? [stupid emoticon].

Correct.
Also if you amend the order, you will need to check out again otherwise they'll send you the original order. They don't actually charge your card until delivery.

Excellent. Just placed my order for delivery between 11am and 1pm on 22nd Dec. Need to add turkey, sausages and ham etc nearer the time.
