Headphone Expert!

I need some guidance about headphones for my nephew, He loves to play games all the time and his birthday is coming, and I want to gift him good headphones. Is there anyone who has experience with these kinds of tech?

Not an expert, but my gamer kids LOVE the DIZA100 Gaming headset. (They have a light-up function, plus a mic).

Get yourself to www.head-fi.org/ — you'll almost certainly find recent discussion threads there with all the info you need, and I've always found there to be lots of lovely knowledgeable people on the forum if I have any other questions (just make sure you're asking in the right place). You need to think about

• what they'll be used for — music, chatting, gaming etc.
• budget
• wired or wireless
• isolation i.e. how much outside noise they'll let in, and how much noise they leak out
• comfort
