Stocking fillers for DP

Hello

Looking for any ideas for stocking fillers please for my DP, I have a tube of sweets (obviously get these closer to Christmas), beard oil, new toothbrush, mini toiletries, pringles jigsaw from the works, top trumps (he loves playing it), novelty Xmas boxers / socks and a mini bottle of gin.

Anymore suggestions or quirky gifts? ☺️

Thank you Grin

There was a thread last year with gifts for men and it was super useful. I can’t remember much other than a beanie hat with a light on the front, electrical measuring tape, posh merino wool socks, mouldable plastic??? To hold stuff on to walls tables etc, multi tool pen, pen knife. I’m out - sorry I ended up with a chocolate orange and books.

@BareVanilla thank you I'll have a little look! You have just reminded me of a chocolate orange though, forgot he loves them 🤣

They do white chocolate orange as well but haven’t seen them to buy in the supermarkets yet.

lightweight 'magic' gloves (the kind that work with touch screens) and merino wool socks were both surprise hits with my DH.

snacky bits also go down well (e.g. lidl and aldi do graze style snack boxes for something like 69p each, biltong, protein bars in more unusual flavours).

american sweets / pick n mix

I stock him up on toiletries (but perhaps nicer ones than I would normally get with the weekly shop).

coffee shop /cinema / playstation / steam vouchers

car accessories - air freshener / charging cable etc

foodwise, flavoured coffees and hot sauces are always well received

I have no idea as we don't buy each other presents.

Then why comment?!

Credit card multi tool.

DismantledKing · 09/08/2021 20:26

What kind of things is he ‘in to’, OP?

Youseethethingis · 09/08/2021 20:52

I got DH a monogrammed metal wallet and a credit card sized metal photo card of the kids last year and he was so chuffed!
Also got him a tub or radox bath salts and a bag of Haribo as he is simultaneously an old woman and a child Xmas Grin
Bamboo socks also featured, as did a bag of chocolate coins because rules are rules.
He explicitly told me not to both arsing about with alcohol minis as they are not worth the money and he'd rather have a full size bottle of nice rum for his main present please, so that was that brilliant idea out the window Xmas Shock

Last year I got DP a scratch card, new phone case, muscle balm for after running, a daft takeaway dice thing and a bar of chocolate.

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 09/08/2021 21:31

An apple tag would be a good idea, I think. £30, so not cheap, but he'll never lose his keys again!

A hit for me last year was a real asteroid chip in a nice box - was about £5.

thelegohooverer · 11/08/2021 08:16

This measuring tape was a hit in dh’s stocking last year. It has a display on top that shows the length including the tape measure itself so you don’t have to do that awkward thing of trying to bend the tape into the corner.

This year he’s getting:

Guinness recipe mix www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/308856996
Yankee car jar (new car scent)
Bath soak
Craft beer
Glasses case
Whisky marmalade
Nano bricks
United Oddsocks
