What is a good hamper-type present to send a family?

DH and I were invited on holiday this year by a lovely couple with their kids, they have also invited us to parties, to stay with them and sent really thoughtful things when DS arrived. They're fab and they've just moved into a new house at the other end of the country so I thought I'd send them a Christmas present. I can't afford a hamper but wanted to send something useful/yummy and was all geared up to post cheese through Paxton & Whitfield but have now remembered she is pregnant and she can't eat all the scrumptious cheeses.

So, what next? I've got about £20 - £25. Any ideas?

TIA

I've got a sugar rush just from looking at it. That's what I want for Christmas
