Hi, I'm treating me and my mum this year to a fill your own advent calendar. We usually have just a chocolate one but fancy going a bit grander this year. The only ideas I have come up with to fill it are a Ferrero Rocher, a votive candle, and nail varnish. After that I'm stumped. Any ideas on what I could put in it? No alcohol as neither of us drink. No activity days as my mum is disabled and I'm agoraphobic. I'd really appreciate your ideas!

anything mini -
hand creams
mini Kinder chocolates
mini toys - mini snow globe or something like it
mini nail file
get something personalised hand made on Etsy - like a key ring or a piece of jewellery for 25 Dec.

Also think about/google for things you get in cracker at Christmas - may give you some other ideas. I think you can buy packs of that kind of thing for a make your own crackers set.

I was looking for something on Etsy and randomly came across this shop which makes minature stuff mainly for dolls I think but it made me think of this thread.

www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MiniaturesByPuy

The do really cute mini mugs you can get personalised and all sorts of random minatures like tennis raquets, iphones, art sets - whatever your interest is! Maybe worth looking at for one day or so in your calendar.

I get that these things are mostly useless unless you have a dolls house or are mini-obsessed - but HOW cute!

@TryingtobePrepared

They are so cute

I know. I think I should have put a health warning with that link because as I said they are all mostly completely useless unless you a really kitting out a dolls how but so utterly adorably dinky that you want to buy it all for no reason whatsoever.

I've managed to get a few things for the calendars now, key rings, Pringles, Xmas shaped hand soap, Cake in a mug, Xmas socks, Xmas oven glove set, Xmas tea bags (Normal bags, just the box it comes in is Christmassy.), Xmas Yankee Candles, and some Xmas nail transfers. I also want to get some scratch cards, I assume they bring out Christmas ones? So will wait for those, and some hot chocolate bombs.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Xmas Smile

Definitely wait for Christmas scratch cards, there is usually a selection. How about a tree decoration? You could split up a pack of chocolate ones? Scrooge
And little craft bits? Stamps & inkpad in time to decorate Christmas card envelopes with, mini cross stitch kit, etc.
Do either of you like gardening? Pack of seeds, those little snips, flying tiger had some plant ties like little silicone lizards one year that were cool, a hyacinth bulb…
If enthusiastic cooks, you could print a gingerbread recipe to make and put a festive cutter/some sprinkles with it. Mini cupcake/petit fours cases?
