nintendogs help

I'm looking at the nintendogs for the nintendo ds and there seems to be a difference in some of the games.
The labrador one states 2 player required whereas the dalmation one doesn't.

By any chance does anyone have the labrador one and know if it is suitable for one player?

i'm wondering if it's just poor wording on the tesco website...?

Yes , it is suitable for one player but 2 can play at same time aswell.
We got this for dd's birthday and it took an age to get it to work properly - basically because the first puppy she chose was 'difficult to train' and nothing will happen until the dog 'recognises its name'. Just make sure your child/you read the instructions in detail before you start as it should save you some potential hassle. Once we realised it, the game has been brilliant for dd(8) and she ablsolutely loves it.

sixlostmonkeys · 28/11/2007 12:40

Thanks idlingabout, especially for the tip.

misdee - I may take you up on that I'm still in the process of trying to find a ds (that I can afford) and a place that actually has them in stock...
I'll get back to you once I know where I'm at! How much?

Ds got the labrador and dd the dachshund and that was the worst bit, getting them to answer to their names. I had 2 dc sitting calling thier dogs for ages then getting mad because it does take a while, dd even got near to tears so be prepared!

So you definitely want it then Monkeys? (I have only got a console because I bought it off DS1 for £70.. for DD for Christmas.. much more than could afford to spend really.. they're so bloody dear aren't they!)

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 28/11/2007 18:03

there are some here on Amazon Cripes.. people are cashing in on Christmas! You could get a console and 3 games for £108 last month!!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 28/11/2007 22:10

Bump? You having it then Monkeys? Sorry for banging on...

sixlostmonkeys · 30/11/2007 09:24

So sorry for taking so long!!!

I've finally found a console - you are right Shiny the prices have really shot up. Note to self: shop early next year (or rather start saving earlier - easier said than done when you are still paying for last christmas )

Anyhoo, when i got the console from Argos (had to actually go to the store and not have it delivered I received a £10 voucher, which I wasn't expecting so, I have decided to use the voucher against the price of a nintendogs, thus leaving Misdee's very kind offer open to ShinyHappypeople.

Thank you for the offer Misdee and I do hope it helps Shiny.

xx
