they are tacky - but that is the point - we have a white/silver AT that gets adorned with pink decorations and pink lights.

Well at risk of offending nice people with perfectly nice fake trees, I would not want one in my house.

Unless it was an old tinsel one with wire branches. They rock!!

basically pretending to be real = tacky, and obviously flagrantly fake = acceptable

Fake green but realistic - not tacky just boring.

Intentionally tacky - well, yes, just that. And surely it's like a joke being repeated everyday for the whole period... Novelty wears off quite quick.

Real - I wouldn't have anything else.

Green - noy tacky but not ever as good as the real thing. Ant other colour,tacky and highly not amusing,cool,trendy or different.
