Disappointed with ITNG mechandise this xmas

Am I the only one who's really disappointed with ITNG mechandise. Every night I sit there and spot the marketing opportunities - I thought this christmas would have a bumper crop of all types of stuff - upsy daisy beds and duvet covers, working ninky nonks, tombliboo toothbrushes but hardly anything! Argghh - anyone selling 'unofficial' merchandise - dd is obsessed......

pmsl. I agree; thought they could have been a bit more imaginative. And brought out a ninky nonky with proper opening train compartment doors.

OK - might be slightly addicted - its like a drug you can't help being drawn into their world but hey DD is 18mths so I have excuse.... but seriously - where is all the stuff?? Someone must want to make money out of poor unsuspecting parents???

I can't be the only one who thinks that the names of the characters are the cutesy names the creators give to their man and lady bits? It's Captain Pugwash all over again I tell you.

I have a ton of other ideas... og pogs, makka pakka sponges,h and why is the no pontypines stuff considering they are in almost every episode??

see? I would love. I can see you now in your upsy daisy skirt, cleaning stones with your makka pakka sponges, going to the supermarket in your ninky-nonk before brushing your teeth with a tombliboo toothbrush and falling asleep under an iggle piggle blanket.

I don't know what Pontypine merchandise they could make seeing as all pontypines seem to do is procreate and get lost.

I have to stop now, I feel like I'm writing a Carry On sketch.

Ahh you see there lies the genius in annoying parents - pontypines would be small wooden things that get lost and really hurt when you step on with bare feet (like lego). My dd wold be absolute heaven going to Tesco in a ninky nonk - so just to please her.... Tell me I'm not the only one that lives their life through their children...

I want a set of cuddly Tombliboos, an Uff Uff and a set of wooden Pontipines.

A mini Whatinger and Pontipine dolls house set.

A Makka Pakka dress up outfit.

A remote control Ninky Nonk.

The range is a bit pants TBH. Both boys obsessed too.

Actually my obsession is the hahoos - I would love a life sized inflatable set in my back garden (analyse that talktothebees!!).

I agree DD1 loves the Tombliboos but you can only get them in the character set. Ordered the nicky nonk and it's tiny, thought the characters would fit in it.

Sweetkitty - the new issue of the itng magazine due out next week has an igglepiggle boat with it....
Totally agree about Tombliboo house - although maybe you could make one out of twiglets or pretzels (I'm convinced thats what they used).
Oh and what about the musical gazebo thing....

Cool DDs loved the makka pakka hand puppet from this months.

DS grabs for the NinkyNonk toy every time we see it in a shop. I have been staying away as know they are pants but was really hoping they would bring out a better one before Christmas

Love your ideas for ITNG merchandise. I'd also thought re: Upsy Daisy bed as DD pretends she is in one every night. She has 'home made' iggle piggle blanket - a red 99p tea towel from Tesco! And - the pop up tent may be a rip off £39.99 but it's also out of stock on Amazon. Strangely, you can now buy it instead for a horrifying £49.99 which amazingly happens to be in stock.

Wonder if BBC/Ragdoll know what parents are thinking? And, would they care?

I'm sure they will in the next year . These things get made under licence in Far East and it can atke time ot agree it all, they will have played safe with the basic toy range to begin with. Remember how Teletubbies merchandise took a while to come out, really only once it had sold abroad and it increased its desirability.

Hahoo Bean Bags - I would buy the set!
