My dd is obsessed with the adverts for these dolls, they are currently on sale on Amazon prime.

Are They worth the money? Anyone have one?

She will be 18 months at Christmas

Interested to see what people think as I've considered buying one too. Only seen it in the shops and they look pretty big and feel weighty as well.

I wouldn’t buy it ow for Xmas as she will probably have lost interest by then. If you are going to buy, give it to her now.

We had one, big heavy ugly thing. DD car preferred playing with the mini versions that came as a pack of 3 with some little accessories. Much cuter.

Agree big ugly things. The back of the head on ours came off and wouldn’t fit on again. My dd got bored quickly with it. Definitely wouldn’t get for an 18m toddler. I’d go for something a lot lighter and easier to play with. At that age all my DDs were happy with cheap supermarket dolls, as long as they made noises, had dummies or bottles and they could cuddle them they were happy.

When DD was 2 she was given one by a friend who no longer wanted it (friend was 8 or 9).
The head is ridiculously heavy and DD frequently managed to bash her own head with it, drop it on her toes etc. It is not a good toy for younger children. Thankfully DD quickly lost interest and it's gone!
About the same age she was given a small baby Annabell (with a small head and soft body) which she still loves now, aged 4.
Something similar to this:
