From Wish? Im looking at lego friends sets for my daughter and the ones on there are so much cheaper (think £18 instead of £60) but are they absolutely awful? They have some good reviews but I can't help thinking they might be fake reviews . Here's an example of one I was looking at

Any comments would be appreciated!

It is shit ,but it will still fuck up your foot when stepped on ,unfortunately I talk from experience.

I have loads. The quality varies but I haven’t had any major issues and it gives you a far wider choice to buy from. I am completely hooked on a brand called loz that does mini Lego. AliExpress has loads of these.

Another good place to buy fake Lego is yourwobb.com

I say this as someone with unhealthy amounts of genuine Lego too if that helps.

My Lego mad teenager has had a couple of fake sets - he’s been really happy with them and not too bothered by the less clear instructions. Nowadays he does keep the builds on display though rather than breaking down and mixing with other stuff.

Lepin is good! Also Ausini sold by Ingenious toys. We have had lepin and ausini trains and planes etc it’s not quite as good as real lego but much better than wilko etc I have used Ali express (takes ages to arrive so order early) and Amazon

DO NOT DO THIS
Please do not by fake Lego that are clearly exact copies of official sets. These are STOLEN designs. Would you like it if you designed something after years of research and planning and someone then just pinches your design and makes fake copies and sells them cheaper.
If you want cheaper compatible bricks buy LEGAL alternative brands sold in shops - the own brand ones in Wilkos/B+M etc, Cobi, Oxford, Mega Contrux etc.

If she has already got loads of Lego Friends that she could rebuild, then why not download the instructions for one of the larger Lego Friends sets & see if you can build one with what you already have?

As long as you know the set number & it's been released you can get pdfs of the build books on the Lego website.

I accidentally bought fake Lego friends minifigures and they were very odd compared to the real ones. I agree that other brands don't work well with real Lego. We have the odd Megablocks brick in ours because we bought a big box of second hand Lego, and you can actually tell when you try to use it as it doesn't quite fit properly.

Wilko Lego is terrible so we've never tried any others although I've read bad reviews of the genuine Lego set I've got for Christmas so not sure if Lego quality is reducing generally?

A few years ago one of my godson's was a big Lego fan. I was looking at a few different sets on Amazon.
I saw a set, put the URL of this set into camelcamel and saw its price history.
With camelcamel you can set up an email alert that once an item becomes X price or lower you get an email to tell you. You need to buy the item quickly then. I got a apox £75 set for £40 then.
You can use this for anything from Amazon.
