What shall we do instead? For the first year for many we are staying at home just the two of us..NO PLANS! Grin

I don't want the day to whizz by as just another day but I'm not cooking the usual, so what can we do instead?

It means when august comes around I’ll start saving and planning Christmas.

I've already decided (and told family) I'm not hosting Christmas this year. Have done it for the last goodness knows how many and it's never been a problem - I really enjoy feeding people! But this year I'm due to give birth mid November, so with a 6ish week old newborn (and first baby so no idea how things will be sleep deprivation wise etc!)I plan on pj's, all the cheese I can't eat at the moment, cured meats, pate and some champagne, oh and lots of naps 🥰

Any ideas for feeding a pescatarian? Lol this xmas it will be just me, OH and dd (who will be 15m) so don't want to go crazy. We won't have our boys until boxing day as they'll be with other parents xmas day (we alternate them).

I know we have to do prawn cocktail starters as OH was gutted we didn't have them last year x

If it were down to just me to choose;
For dinner; honey maple pigs in blankets, cheesy mash, peas. Prosecco.

For the evening ; warm part baked rolls, prosecco, Cheeseboard, crisps and dip, cold cuts, rocky road.
