We used NORAD last year, but this year my nearly 7yo DD has decided Santa isn't real and can't wait to tell all her friends

It's really cool - we do it every year. Even before Dcs were born .

If you read the background story about how a little boy phoned them by accident it's really sweet (and hopefully true).

Go onto www.northpole.com and there are loads of activities for children to do and the also have a link to the NORAD site to track santa, you can start tracking him at 2pm today.

DD and i jumped out of bed at 7am this morn adn swtiched computer straight onto northpole!..we've been playing on it all this month and couldnt wait for today to track him

Brie I'm 43 aswell and I am soooooo excited.

From the norad website, he will be setting off in about 15 minutes (it is 2am MTN which I think is 8am here).

So - currently undergoing last minute sleigh checks and list checks (naughty/nice etc). Although I am reliably informed by my DH that he now carries a mobile phone so he can be contacted once he has set off in case of last minute naughtiness.

Will save this up for the DC later
