Party present for 7yo?

I know it's not Christmas but it is present related so hoping for some suggestions. After a year of no parties I'm really out of the loop with kids presents!
I need to buy a birthday party present for a boy turning 7yo, budget £10ish.
Apparently he likes lego and playing his switch. But for £10 you can only get the tiny lego sets and they really don't look very substantial as a present.
Any brilliant ideas or things your children have liked? Trying hard to avoid just giving money.

T shirt with a character they like (try character.com), craft bits - paint sticks / fabric pens and a blank top / hat. You can get personalised national book tokens on their website.

Maybe something like this

Staff is right, get a t-shirt or maybe a blanket with a characters they like, it always hits the nail on the head! I did a photo calendar with Disney characters my niece liked and she loved it and still has sheets from it on her walls as posters now even though it's been several years. I used a program called Photo calendar maker but there is also Shutterfly and your local photo stores should do that, too

How about a Nintendo e-shop gift card (and some sweets if you wanted something to wrap)?

You can get some nice Lego sets for under £10, my DS is 7 and likes the small Ninjago sets, or the 3 in 1 Creator sets are generally under £10.

Book on folding paper aeroplanes

Galt dinolab or similar kit

The National Geographic sciency sets are good - they have crystal growing ones you can get from Argos etc., always good as birthday presents and often 2 for £15. Or a Galt science kit set - they have ones for glow in the dark experiments and magnets for example. Sainsburys had a good 2 for £15 offer recently that included some more substantial Lego sets - a Ferrari lego car and the 3 in 1 dinosaurs.

The £10 Lego sets are perfectly fine for a gift for a 7 year old. They are sort of thing that 7 year olds love.

My children have always loved the Lego books which would be in budget.

Argos have some Lego sets for 2 for £15.

I tend to give them as presents. To girls or boys.
