I have bought 15 rolls of wrapping paper in Asda and some plain gold and silver tags Smile. So all I need is some for the kids presents now as I like more fun themed paper for theirs.

I've started a Christmas food shop card in Asda. £20 on that so far.

At end of January will put £30 a month away for oldest DS for JD Sports presents as I hate handing over money in there.

I have a Christmas Card List, Food Shop List and notes pages on my phone for

Ds1
Ds2
Family (Inc DH)
OH Family
God-Children/Family Children

I have a spreadsheet by Summer which is Green (got), Red (to get) and Amber (ordered)

I have booked a Pantomime and also a pre Christmas trip to Krakow (rearranged three times now) for myself and DH. We also have a cottage booked for New Year. This is all based on the fact I doubt we will get anywhere by Summer really.

Just a point...don't take Xmas decs to charity shops in Spring, they don't have anywhere to store them and can't sell them - best hang onto them until later in the year

I have my decorations up already.

Absolutely .
We took some in 2019 December when we looked through them and when people would be looking for them.
But now especially the shops has very limited storage with having to isolate everything before sale .

Absolutely nothing! I hate the idea of buying anything (including cards or wrapping paper) before November at least. I want to do it when I'm beginning to look forward to Christmas!

I am organised about keeping a record in my journal about what presents we give and receive, but all of that happens in December.

As for what went wrong/right - the only thing that went wrong was not being able to see family due to Covid. All presents went down well as normal, food was great as normal.

Actually I've made a mental note of one thing - my white chocolate gingerbread yule log was definitely nicer than Christmas pudding!

Nothing. It's January. 😂
