hi, can anyone advise please - I was always told not to cook the turkey drip pad (absorbent pad with foil on one side) but on the Tesco crown instructions, it says do not remove foil tray or the absorbent drip pad - just want to get it right! Anyone else got one of these? TIA!

What was the answer OP? I chucked mine away Confused will my dinner survive?

Surely it’ll absorb all the tasty turkey juice for the gravy

Yes, I thought I'd just go with the actual instructions and stop worrying!! Looking on the internet, it seems to be a case of perhaps just soaking up extra juices etc, not 100% sure, but I guess you just have to go with individual packaging instructions with these things! Have a good xmas everyone - off to start all the trimmings!!!

Just been having the same thing, we put ours in but have just just took it out after an hour

Camdineen - I ended up doing exactly that!! A sort of "turkey compromise"!! hope everyone's had a good day - here's to a brighter 2021 for everyone :)
