Last minute panic buying

Finished wrapping dcs presents to find that dd had 9 more than ds. Although I suspect ds has more spent. Anyway ordered 6 more presents on amazon to even it out more.
Anyone else like this or have I lost the plot

I think you might have. How old are they? Do they understand that some things are expensive? Will they actually count how many presents they each have before they crack on and open them?

I haven’t counted the dc’s presents but suspect dd2 has more than dd1 but dd1 has an expensive main present where as dd2 has several less expensive things as her main present. Dd1 doesn’t really want much where dd2 still plays with things and likes lots of things. We put all the presents under the tree so they don’t notice if one has a bigger pile than the other. I was buying things up until 2 days ago as I was worried I didn’t buy enough 🤣 but I’m finished now and I’m sure they will both love what I have bought them and won’t compare.
