For the first time ever I’ve stuck to my budgets, and factoring in some extra voucher savings I’ve even managed to get my parents slightly under budget.
I felt great, until I’ve come to wrap everything and now I’m in serious need of an Amazon prime panic buy (will it still come in time though??)

I’m looking for my mum and dad, a gift each £10-20
Or a larger shared gift.

They have chocolate, smellies, pjs, slippers and books so far.

They like gardening and dog walking, my dad likes to run. And they like being cosy at home watching tv

Any ideas of anything I can get by Friday afternoon when we see them?

You seem to have bought them quite a bit already though, I wouldn’t want DC spending so much on me, but is there a garden centre they go to? You could get them a gift voucher for there between them if you want to spend extra

Baileysoncereal · 23/12/2020 19:32

Hmm that is all showing as delivering on 27th to me!
Lovely ideas and will see if I can find them locally quickly.

I think it’s because I would normally spend at least double! We did agree to have more of a budget this year because it’s been a difficult year for everyone, but it feels a bit awful now I’ve come to wrap it

What about a bottle of wine / champagne / Baileys / gin whatever their tipple is to share. Could easily get from the local corner shop?

BadlydoneHelen · 23/12/2020 22:25

An Echo dot?

Lovemusic33 · 24/12/2020 10:29

I would go to the garden centre and buy a plant or a voucher so they can buy something nice in the spring. My parents love getting vouchers for the local garden centre.

Baileysoncereal · 24/12/2020 13:23

Thanks all
I think The garden centre is the best thing to do, I’ll go and see if there’s anything they’d like or grab them a voucher! Thank you
