Help me write a list

No big Christmas obv. But things still need to be done before chilling on the 24th.
So far I have:
Buy the turkey and vegetables- first thing tomorrow.
Hoover everywhere
Clean the kitchen
Wrap presents (!)
Make yule log.
Um... get in the mood, not sure tgat is happening.

I make some veg beforehand

Bread sauce- done
Pigs in blankets- wrapped
Braised cabbage- done
Cheesy leeks- done

Tomorrow will pick up turkey, other veg.

Will peel and prep spuds and carrots tomorrow and will wrote out my Christmas Day meal plan/timings.

I like to be on top of my laundry too so that will get a big push tomorrow.

Meal plan for 3/4 days? 24-27?

Good call on veg prep. I might make the mash for ds who is not a fan of roasties.

Ironing might be a good idea, I have literally nothing ironed and I might want to make a slight effort Christmas day...

Make the Yule log before you clean the kitchen.

Also... skip the hoovering and stick a shit Christmas film on. My recommendation is bad moms 2 because that will help you feel less guilty for not hoovering. If there was one year to go into Christmas Day with a messy house, this is it. Embrace!

But for others who might me reading this thread, it's frozen turkey - one word very important message DEFROST

(there are threads every year from people who have forgotten, or remembered too late)

Get on top of the laundry - washing and drying as well as ironing. Nothing worse than not having what you want clean when in holiday mode!
A quick dust, clean bathrooms and hoover up.
I'm doing lots of baking this week, some last bits of wrapping and hoping that Christmas Eve is a day of rest!

No room for turkeys in my freezer sadly, I struggle to fit in a packet of veggie burgers some days. I miss my chest freezer.
I am up and hung up some washing so I can tick one thing off the list.
