Sorry if it's been asked already.. looking for Christmas Day dessert ideas. Home made, not trifle or Christmas pudding. What's everyone having? Thanks

We are having warm chocolate orange brownie and gingerbread ice cream though dd has just requested cheesecake.

GlowingOrb · 20/12/2020 18:38

I’m making sticky toffee pudding.

Girlintheframe · 20/12/2020 18:40

We're having white choc and raspberry cheesecake and creme brûlée

Girlintheframe · 20/12/2020 18:41

Chocolate trifle is nice. Easy but a bit different from the usual trifle

Einszwei · 20/12/2020 18:42

Pavlova

generallygenial · 20/12/2020 18:43

I'm making a mocha yule log

Fivemoreminutes1 · 20/12/2020 18:44

Jamie’s winter bombe

Yule log and a steamed gingerbread pudding

DS1 is going to make a cappuccino chocolate cheesecake. We were going to have our Christmas pudding when we met up with DD , but obviously that's out of the window.

missrabbitismyhero · 20/12/2020 19:18

Espresso martini cheesecake from the Christmas Good Food magazine

MyNameForToday1980 · 20/12/2020 19:21

Affogato after lunch - and Yule log (chocolate, cream and raspberry roulade, from Cook, some hours later).

We're in Tier 4 so no guests to force our hand on the dreaded Christmas pudding (which I do enjoy but only in very tiny amounts).

cameocat · 20/12/2020 19:25

Chocolate roulade

Meringue ring filled with custard and strawberries / mango / passion fruit

Cheesecake

We're not having a massive party it's just everyone likes different things! (I like it all though!) Grin

Baked Alaska. Retro deliciousness

gavisconismyfriend · 20/12/2020 19:31

Tiramisu

FestiveDigestives · 20/12/2020 19:33

Havent decided yet. No Christmas pudding this year as I’m the only one who ever eats it in our house.

Don’t fancy cheesecake or anything chocolatey. Potentially a raspberry pavlova. Or maybe just posh ice cream.

InTheLongGrass · 20/12/2020 19:42

DS1 is having Xmas pud.
DS2 and I are having rocky road shaped into an Xmas pudding.
DH is declaring he is low carb, so will probably have both......

Yule log with cream

It's the only think we all like. Plus no cooking or preparation...

missyB1 · 20/12/2020 20:24

Mary Berry’s Tiramisu

StCharlotte · 20/12/2020 20:35

Chocolate and raspberry torte.

Hopefully roulade unless it gets subbed.

I’ve got a back up of Yule log or rhubarb crumble if it does.

caringcarer · 20/12/2020 21:22

Raspberry pavlova with ice cream and a chocolate gateaux with.cream. They are both shop bought this year. I also have a Vienetta in freezer. On Boxing Day I have some brandy snap baskets and fresh raspberries with ice cream and raspberry coolie I made with raspberries from garden in summer and froze.
