Writing my shopping list! Got a click and collect slot booked for Wednesday, and trying to figure what I'll need for the following week. Takeaway Christmas Eve, and Christmas dinner sorted, just not sure what to eat the other days 🤷‍♀️

Any inspiration would be great!

I've just realised I have no nibble bits from M&S like we usually have. Oops. And I was not intending going back before Christmas (maybe very very early tomorrow...).

Today, no idea yet. Not tomorrow or Wednesday. Possibly a stir fry once, and steak dinner another.

Thursday will be platter - cold meats, cheese, veggies and dips.

Probably sandwiches for lunch.

Friday - nice breakfast and turkey dinner.

Saturday - leftovers, sandwiches, sausage rolls, maybe M&S nibbles if I get them.

Sunday - possibly ham and Stilton gratin (if I find a small ham). But quite possibly grazing on leftovers and cheese.

Mon thinking turkey curry,
Tues maybe lamb meatballs and pasta
Also have chicken legs, salmon, battered cod fillets and lamb chops in freezer and chicken breast coming tomorrow. So will cobble something together those few days.

Have another order due on 2nd, could move it earlier as there are slots, just don't really feel like my usual festive food this year.

Assuming I can get everything on my shopping list tonight......

Christmas Eve dinner - Anti pasti
Christmas Day Breakfast - toast, croissants, madeleines, bake in the oven pretzels, jams etc
Christmas Dinner - roast partridge with all the usual bits
Choc steamed pud and Christmas pud

Boxing Day - leftovers. I will also roast a small piece of beef and make some Yorkshire puddings

27th - Gammon and tartiflette potatoes
28th - leftovers
29th - Gammon, egg and chips
30th - I will probably make a pizza
31st - Onion soup with cheese and ham pancakes
New Years Day - Meatballs & spaghetti and a yule log
2nd Jan - leftover meatballs
3rd - Gnocchi

There is only the two of us so I'm trying to keep it simple and not spend all the time in the kitchen.

I've just been shopping so the final plan is

23rd - gammon with cauliflower cheese and roasted baby potatoes
24th - party food (far far too much for two adults, a three year old who doesn't eat and a 1 year old)
25th - turkey
26th - Camembert with homemade bread, pigs in blankets and salad
27th - turkey curry
28th - turkey and ham pie (possibly involving stuffing)

Having fajitas tonight. Not particularly festive...

I also bought a Christmas tree shaped garlic bread but I have no idea where that's fitting in...
