Last minute tablet help - please!

I want to get ds a Samsung Tablet (yes, I know I should have done this before) and am a bit confused - seem to be a lot of different models at different prices and I don't know what they all mean! Is 8" ok generally? Anything else I need to know? Thanks.

Hi, couple of questions, how old is ds amd what's your budget? Tab a8 is a good tablet for the price, but depending on age and what ds wants it for, and budget. We opted for the new tab A7 as its for someone older to watch Netflix etc as i really liked the fact it has 4 speakers for better surround sound. I've read so many reviews, watched far to many youtube videos and a trip to a store to compare tablets. I paid £219 in autumn when it first came out but its on special offer everywhere at the moment. £169 currys (think it has a free case included) and £179 everywhere else (john lewis, argos, very , amazon etc). I think alot depends on the age of your son and what he needs from a tablet. Lots of places have them in stock online or for click and collect.

I think both the 2019 a8 and the bigger a7 2020 are both fab tablets, the a7 has a lot more to it interms of screen resolution, sound etc but is a bit more ££.
