What size turkey?

I have two added to my M&S/Ocado shop and need to decide which. I’ve ordered from the farm shop or gone out on Christmas Day before but just busy this year at work but will have no visitors etc so going for a crown.
Two greedy adults and a not bothered about Christmas dinner kid. Some left for cold ideally but not bucketloads. What size? The 2.7kg or 1.8kg.
I’m having a complete idiot moment and need to amend my shop by 1030.

I’d go 2.7kg and make Ed Victor’s turkey hash (and other dishes) with leftovers. But then I like cooking the leftovers!

1.8kg is about the size of a large chicken I reckon, so if you fancy something same size as a regular Sunday roast, then go for that ☺️

I’ve gone for the smaller one. I felt a bit ridiculous that I asked online immediately after posting about bloody turkey sizes Grin
I am working Boxing Day, I know I’ll have ideas of all kinds of leftover recipes and then I’ll end up binning it.

Well we've ordered a 3kg stuffed turkey fillet to feed 6-7 for 2 days.

Go big and freeze the meat and broth.

Ah! Amended and went for the bigger one Smile
