Roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings?

Trying to plan for an easy Xmas meal and trying to find shortcuts where I can! What are the best of the above you have found?

And any other tips?

TIA.

We use the aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings that are not precooked- its just the batter.

We have used Sainsbury's Yorkshire's in the past and I will get them again this year.

Roasties though, you can't get anything close to good from store bought. In my opinion that's the one thing that you can't shortcut on. Get those microwave steam packs of veg etc and commit half an hour to roast potatoes.

Sainsbury's chilled Yorkshire's I'm talking about there, they are usually near the beef in the fridges and are in a grey and clear plastic bag.

Waitrose and their mince pies with brandy are awesome too.

M&S Yorkshire puddings
Sainsbury’s taste the difference gravy
Sainsbury’s taste the difference stuffing
Tesco has a huge variety of frozen canapés

Agree with PP that roast potatoes are better done yourself. If you peel and boil them the night before, let them cool, pour goose fat on them and pt the tray in the fridge, then you only have to pop the tray in the oven in the morning.

I can’t be bothered todo turkey this year as we are doing a ready made beef Wellington.

I’d ready buy anything except for roast potatoes.

Red cabbage Sainsbury’s or M&S

These M&S ones are pretty good, but need a drizzle more oil and seasoning when you cook them.
