Gift ideas 1yo boy

Would like to buy a gift for friend’s about-to-turn 1yo DS. Can’t remember what my DS played with at that age (he’s 10 now) so any recommendations/suggestions welcomed!

(Yes I know he is only a baby & won’t really care if I don’t get him anything but friend always bought for my DC when small so I’d like to reciprocate)
