Hi, I'm looking to find some Food/alcohol based Christmas hampers that are good value and are not full of pickles etc. Something that people actually want to use. Budget about £70

Any advice out there?

We had one delivered earlier in week from this company. Had a nosey at their site as hadn't heard of them before, and they do seem to do a wide variety of options for content. The one we received had about 9/10 items. Haven't tried them yet, so can't comment on quality.

Fortnums does a lovely champagne and chocolates box for exactly £70.

Was going to suggest M&S or John Lewis but looks like they are sold out. You might just be too late this year.

Yes, LizzieMacQueen I was surprised at how many are sold out. I assume as people aren't necessarily going to see family that this is a good option.

Have a look at souschef. They have some nice sets with eg a cookbook and some of the more unusual ingredients required.
