Present for a woman in her 30s?

Sorry, I know it’s crap to describe someone like that!
I need to buy a nice present, up to £100, for a really lovely woman in her late 30s. She’s not a reader. She’s very different from me, very glamorous, into going out, socialising, etc. She knows a lot about clothes & make up (works in fashion industry) so I’m wary of getting something along those lines as I don’t know anything about them!
She does like outdoors - long walks in the country.
I did think of some nice silk pjs but apparently she is astonished by the UK tendency of wearing clothes in bed (comes from a very different climate originally).
Any suggestions? I am so stuck.

How about a really good quality beauty box?

BlueChampagne · 10/12/2020 15:03

Champagne?

NotMeekNotObedient · 10/12/2020 17:13

Silk pillow cases & eye mask?
Silk robe?
Posh candle?
Cashmere scalf/gloves?

feellikezerobucks · 10/12/2020 17:15

How about a posh candle or a nice travel organiser, both have gone down great with my similar friends.

I also thought of gloves. I'd check out Dents.
Jewellery case
A vanity mirror

Grazia/Vanity Fair/Elle/Vogue magazine subscription
Hotel Chocolat velvetiser
Diptyque holiday eau de toilette gift set
Vivienne Westwood orb bracelet
Swell cocktail shaker and tumblers set

You're pretty much describing me. Things I'm hoping to get this year include merino and silk blend walking socks, a bottle of artisan rum (gin is totally over Wink), posh chocolate, and soft wool working from home things, like fancy slippers and a wrap.

If she works in fashion, chances are she gets a lot of freebies/samples, so I'd avoid anything like that.
Cire Trudon candle?
Champagne? or a good wine?
Properly posh chocolates (not bloody Hotel Chocolat!)
Smythson diary? (They do a fashion diary)
I'd keep it simple - the more imaginative you try to be, the more likely you'll get it wrong.

Oh thanks so much all for these suggestions! They sound lovely - I want them myself!

stodgystollen (great name!) do you have any idea about what kind of slippers might be fancy slippers? Is there anywhere in particular you'd look?
The artisan rum idea is just perfect!

Champagne- Billecart Salmon or Pol Roger would be my preference.
Ordinance survey maps!

If I were choosing for myself, I'd like something like this:
coolsheepskin.co.uk/ester-wool-felt-slipper-boot-shepherd-of-sweden/

I'm not really sure what counts as posh, obviously unless it says Prada on it! I don't know what the Kardashian types wear. It a bit depends where she's from. My Australian friends all swear by real ugg boots (not the brand, but a double sheepskin boot with a sole) Some other friends wear these:

But then my German friends wear lovely felted woollen clogs as hausschuhe. We all live in appartements, so we go round for dinner and take the heels off straight away to not annoy the neighbours! Hence how I know about my friends' slippers.

As ever, I guess the rule is pick something you'd like to receive. At least slippers are useful and generally no one else see you wearing them if you've picked something that really isn't her style.

Thank you so much! There are lots of things on those links that have given me ideas for other people too.

You have probably already purchased by now but a NEOM wellbeing pod would go down beautifully no doubt

Thank you!
