Ugh IWOOT

Is anyone else having issues with IWOOT? I placed an order which was due for delivery at the beginning of November, still hasn’t arrived! Contacted them and had generic replies. Kept asking for them to cancel order, they said they would ‘try’ to. Took to Twitter to see if that would help me get my money back. Order dispatched yesterday and as a gesture of goodwill they have refunded me, great. They have said up to 21 days for delivery, I have purchased replacement presents but prefer the ones that are apparently on the way from IWOOT what do I do? Keep the replacements and use them? Send them back and hope the IWOOT ones arrive in time?

It seems on Twitter I’m not the only one having issues but it’s bloody annoying!

I've not bought from them this year, but did last year and they let a lot of customers down by not delivering in time for Christmas. Bought something in the Black Friday sales and sat pending until about the 21st and it finally arrived 23rd December. I think they drop ship a lot of products from China so the lead times can be weeks longer than they advertise unfortunately.

IWOOT used to be absolutely brilliant but have gone to shit in the last few years. I haven't used them for ages but have heard about lots of people having problems with them.

Thank you BoJoHoNo it’s just so bloody annoying. But that would make a lot of sense about the shipments from China.

The thing I have found the most frustrating is not actually being able to speak to a person. Everything is generic from them, even initially when I posted on Twitter but as others started to comment on my post (not many 3/4 I don’t have any followers) they then actually decided to speak to me (via Twitter).

I get things are different this year for everyone but the customer service has been appalling. I certainly won’t be using them or Zavvi again.
