WFH hamper ideas

My DH is a nightmare to buy for as he buys himself everything he wants but still likes to open things on Christmas Day.
I’m thinking of doing him a WFH box with little bits in it. So far I’ve thought a desk calendar, biscuits, mug (?). Any one got any ideas please?

mynameiscalypso · 07/12/2020 22:35

Pen pot and some pens? Nice notebook?

Warm jumper/ socks
Nice coffee/ aeropress.

Stress ball
Coaster
Pomodoro timer
Moleskin notebook
Pen

Has he got a proper set up with mouse, keyboard, second screen, footrest etc?

Wireless ergonomic mouse would be useful.

Is he really going to want work related things?? A hamper is a nice idea but I am fucking sick of WFH! I'd like booze, cocktail making stuff, super post chocolate, cheese, card game...

Postmanbear · 08/12/2020 14:37

Thank you all for the ideas!

Yes @Titsinknicks I think he will like it. He’s like a child who likes opening lots of little bits, I did him a similar one years ago and he loved it. He’s really enjoying WFH but we’ve turned the nursery into his office so it’s not really his space. Don’t have time to redecorate atm though!

USB heated coaster for his mug.

Desk lamp.
Go on Paperchase and look at their stationery offerings - things like bundle of purple elastic bands, odd shaped paper clips, post it notes in various shapes and colours, sellotape dispenser, different coloured highlighters, drawing pins etc.

A clip board for the wall.

Postmanbear · 08/12/2020 20:10

A heated coaster is a great idea, I think other people have had the same one as a lot are sold out! I’ll keep looking.
A clipboard for the wall is a good idea, he currently tapes things up with sellotape!

I got DH a lovely wooden charging station from Notonthehighstreet a few years ago. It's got ports to plug in phone etc and a stand at the back to hang his headphones on. You can get them personalised too.
He works from our garden office. I I got him a blue plaque once (like the heritage sites ones) that said
"Gazelda's DH.
2012 -
Professional procrastinator and Lego expert"
He's put it on the outside wall. A bit naff, but it amused him.

Sad but would he like a whiteboard for his office? My colleague was very excited to get one for her home office :)

WillSantaBeComingToTown · 09/12/2020 21:35

A sofa for zoom/teams calls?
