I really struggle every year with buying for my son, so far he has trainers and a coat. I want some fun things but he isn’t interested in much apart from his Xbox 🙄 he does like history too

Usborne does a boxed set of ten books about different eras in history - I bought it for 12yo DS a few years ago bit he still reads them now. Ds also really like the magma carts scroll that my mum got him. What about a book on Henry VIII? Quite interesting time. Or one on King John?

I feel ya OP, DS is 12 and has autism but is literally only into gaming. He spends most of his Time playing. He specifically asked me for airpods last year So I got them, he then asked for a specific PS4 and switch game so managed to get them. The rest I was clutching at straws for. His birthday is 11 days after and that was another headache. He finally told me something the other day, but I’ve literally gone off my own back for the rest and hopes he likes it 😬

I got him
Airpods
Talking sloth
Studio creator
Tronix electronic board
Illuminated mouse and mouse mat
Mario cushion
Mario 3D allstars switch game
Daffy Duck duvet cover

His stocking
Roblox voucher
Roblox figure
Mario uno
Planet coaster PS4 game
Personalised alton towers thirteen drinks bottle & notepad
Lindor chocs
Sloth plate
Lynx set
Lush bath bombs

Hope it gives you some ideas 😊

Idontbelieveit12 · 06/12/2020 22:49

These ar brilliant! Ds may need two stockings

yeOldeTrout · 06/12/2020 23:04

mine asked for sudoku book. He also recently spent hours demolishing a metal slinky recently (contortions slinkies were never meant to do). I found another twisty-toy thing (see pic) he might not destroy so quickly.

The Office Uno game.

I’ve found Menkind good for my DS who is also 12. Not small gifts size-wise but I got a couple of fun things around the £20-25 mark. I got a tabletop air hockey game and a DIY hydraulic robot arm. He’s also getting plasma ball. History-related, there’s a Horrible Histories board game...would that interest him?

Small/stocking gifts...PS4 thumb grips and silicone controller covers, a book on Fortnite hacks, novelty power bank or USB stick, touch screen gloves, blank flip books, tornado spheres, outline metallic pens, coloured hair gel, books, card game, bath bomb etc etc.
