'Future' friendly gifts

My husband is all about investing in the future and especially our daughters future. Not just money in a bank account but little things that will help the environment. Last year I got him a lovely little tree decoration and for every one bought they pledge to plant numerous trees. Is anyone aware of any other little things like this that I can maybe do this year? Thank you

I like these though not sure if really suitable bracelets to help animal conservation.

If you have a garden then anything you can plant helps the environment?

Maybe a membership to RSPB, woodland trust or something similar?

We've been given sponsorships for animals at a particular sanctuary.

I think it's a lovely idea.
