Alternative to a 3D pen

I am looking for a creative present for my 10 ye old daughter. The thing she likes best is her sister's 3D pen, but obviously Ed don't need or want two of those. Can you think of something along that sort of line that she might like? Budget around £30. (In the past she has enjoyed a pottery wheel too) thanks

Why not buy her the 3D pen? Seems strange not to because her sister has one unless sister is happy for her to use it.

Yes, she uses her sisters all the time

Are 3D pens good? I was wondering about getting one for my DS. What kind have you got?

Selection of fimo and ideas book to go with it?

Graphics tablet & stylus (suspect these start at twice your budget though).

Stop-motion animation kit?

Diamond painting kit?

If you want something tech, maybe look at the One by Wacom (small size £36 from Argos). It is a little graphics tablet that lets your drawings appear on the screen. Kinda fun if she is into art.

Thanks all. She has had Fimo and foaming painting kit in previous years and could use her brother's stop motion set if she wanted. I'll take a look and the one from Wacom.

I am not sure which 3D pen we have to be honest - got it about 3 years ago. They like it, but I can't say they have managed any masterpieces with it!!

What about a chocolate pen? Maybe a bit messy but the creations could be eaten

My daughter just got a 3D shape maker which is gel tubes, stencils and a curing box with a UV light in. It's brilliant!

Seeing this post made me remember we bought DS (then 13) a 3D pen last year ... he used it on Christmas Day and it never came out of the box ever again! I think I stuck it on top of his wardrobe mid January after I got sick of moving it around the kitchen.

That 3D maker looks interesting. I've been looking at resin and moulds for making paperweights etc, but haven't found any that look like a proper gift set with good instructions yet
