Sorry I know there are a million threads like this right now but I am stuck on what to buy for dd's boyfriend who is unexpectedly joining us for Christmas. We are not bubbling with anyone else due to having an enormous family and wanting to be fair, so there's no Covid issue with this.
He's early twenties, quiet, polite, studying a MA in biological science like my dd. They've been together several years but I've still no clue. Dd was unhelpful and just said he loved coming to us for family occasions and wouldn't want us to go to any trouble buying gifts.
He's a lovely lad, always kind and helpful....the sort to just do the washing up if it needs to be done and he has to have something to open. He doesn't game or drink, and I'd love to get him something he'd actually like......
Any suggestions gratefully received please?

I would definitely get something although my child is only 2 so it'll be some time until he'll bring something home for Christmas haha ideas:

Tommy Hilfiger or All saints T-shirt (about £35), a pair of black leather gloves, nice socks, is he into running or sports, a good pair of running socks, aftershave. Just get a gift receipt and he can change it if he doesn't like it.

Something? Someone*

A fancy box of chocs or a bottle of something he drinks would be nice.

Does he have a hobby? Is he a foodie?

Board game of some type like bears vs babies, exploding kittens, Cards versus humanity, depending on his personality? Or what about a onesie or something similar, when my DH was early twenties he used to love it when my DP’s got him a onesie. Grin oh or a large bar of favourite chocolate or box of sweets.

unusual science-y gifts website

I'm getting mine some protein powder and a sports voucher

Thanks everyone, some good ideas. That science website looks good, I'll have a search through there.
I know he doesn't drink (won't even have champagne on NYE) but some fancy sweets/food might be a nice idea.
He's not into sports, he reads a lot and likes music but I know he has an Apple Music account.....

A fancy pen, a really nice notebook, chocolate, bamboo socks, basic pyjamas.

Some men’s skincare? Like the Clarins or Clinique range?
