Chances of a Nintendo Switch restock?

Had been thinking of possibly getting my DD a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, life got in the way, and now everywhere is showing out of stock.

What are the chances do you think of this being restocked anytime before Christmas?

They only sell at 279 new when they are actually in stock.

270 is obviously the price the supply/ demand is currently causing.

They will go down in price on CEX once you can actually buy them new again.

They weren't any cheaper when I looked before black friday as I posted about it before. In stock then in argos currys etc. Similar issue with the games!!
We went into a shop initially about an xbox one as they were reduced from new price. But the switch issue has puzzled me!!

Wow, was that £229 for a Switch, or a Switch Lite? I am also still looking....

@MegsSmeg it was the neon switch the day before Black Friday. I got Mario Kart for £40 in Argos to go with it.

It’s worth checking any locally run games stores too. I got a new switch from our locally run shop yesterday. I mentioned they seemed to be out of stock everywhere so I was glad they had them!

John Lewis have stock!!

Nintendo website have them to pre-order (in stock on 9th Dec)

Can't find them on the John Lewis website so they must have sold out straight away. Smyths have a few of the bundles in stock online this afternoon. Not the ones i want, but might help someone. They are mainly Animal Crossing bundles etc.

Local argos doesnt have it anymore.

For those who ordered one from Argos last week that was supposed to be in stock today, have you got it? My order status hasn't changed, was due in today but it's not updated to say it's ready to collect.

Nintendo Uk are advertising Animal Crossing ones to pre order - could be worth a look?

I got one at the weekend from Nintendo direct. Have to keep refreshing the page. They come in to and out of stock within minutes. I lost my chance once pondering which bundle to get, they were out of stock again before i could click 'add to basket'. Back in again several hours later but sold out again by the time i'd finished checking out and went back in to see what was left.

Went into Argos this morning and they said it wasn't in yet (it was due in yesterday), and they suggested I cancel it and re-order

I've just ordered one from Amazon but it was about £50 more than the standard price so am still looking for another if anyone sees one, then I'll cancel this one 🤯

They say they do but when you click on it's not available for delivery or to click and collect anywhere.

Nintendo have the switch plus animal crossing in stock now on their website. £319.99 plus free delivery.
