I'm watching an old version of a Christmas Carol that's showing on TV at the moment and was wondering how many versions of the Christmas Carol there is and has anyone ever seen them all.
I can think of
Mickey Christmas Carol
Muppets Christmas carol
The Patrick stewert version
This one from the 70's
Scrooged
Any others?

Why does anyone bother? They should have shut up shop after the Alastair Sim version, it will never be topped.

@Wishimaywishimight @InDreamland one of my favourites!

There's one with Ross Kemp in it that's been 'modernised'.

Also, does Blackadder's Christmas Carol count? Love that one!

Wishimaywishimight that song always reminds me of my late DF. We were watching that particular version of A Christmas Carol years ago, the song came on and I told DF how much I detested it. Every Xmas afterwards, without fail, he would sing that song to me at some point or another Grin

The musical version I love it, we’ve got the 1950s and I’ve got the Ross kemp as well.

The Total Christmas Podcast does a review of a different version of A Christmas Carol in each episode. It’s available on Spotify.

Thank you for all the suggestions and for the podcast. December will be a busy month.

The Kelsey Grammar musical one. "Let the stars in the sky remind us of man's compassion. Let us love til we die and God bless us everyone"

Cheesy as they come Grin

My kids are 15 and 11 now and we still LOVE to watch the Cebeebies version every year!

Simon Callow, bloody amazing.
Not normally my cup of tea although I appreciate the standard.
I was enthralled with every word and movement.
Anybody who hasn't seen it, really should.
Ha Ha, even my dh was mesmerised, not his thing either.
