Help finding some specific-smelling candles?

One of my best friends moved abroad last year and has been talking a lot about missing the smells from the place she grew up in at home.

I wanted to get her some decent-quality candles that recreate those kinds of smells, but that don't cost the earth...

I'm looking for ones that smell like:

Fresh-cut grass and roses
Bonfires / woodsmoke
Laundry on the line

Budget is about £50.

Anyone got any ideas?

A small company local to me do some that might fit the bill - they actually have candles called “washing line” and “ironing pile”! And at least one rose-scented. The candles I’ve had from them have been excellent.

Try Etsy, I've seen lots of unusual smells on handmade candles there. I bought a bookshop scented one recently and I've definitely seen fresh laundry.

Some of the Scandinavisk candles in John Lewis have these sorts of scents; Diptyque does Feu de Bois and also the White Coompany has similar smoky ones. Oh and Diptyque used to do Foin Coupe (cut hay) but I haven’t seen it for a while

Yankee candle Evening Fire is amazing (but very hard to find and it’s my favourite)

Loaf do all of these scents. They will send you a set of scent cards to try before you buy. loaf.com/products/candles

Oh my... such great recommendations!

I'm a bit of a lovely-smells-ophile so this is a dangerous thread for me, but thank you all so much!

Off to investigate...
