How much money in a card?

I am wondering, what everybody else puts into a card for nieces/nephews? I don't have children, so won't be getting gifts for my children in return, if that makes any difference.

Do their parents not get you extra presents? Seems a bit tight of them when you're spending on their kids?

We have 12 niece's and nephews, so its £10 in a card.

I spend about £50 each on my Nephews but I do only have 2 to buy for and they are both still pre school age
