DS11 is desperate for a gaming chair, preferably an xrocker brand that sits on the floor. I looked online a few weeks ago and saw loads on Argos so thought I'd wait for Black Friday in case of a discount. Went online today to find that there are NONE to order inshore or for delivery.

I've gone on to look at every place I can think of and there are none to be had! I've looked at Currys, JL, ao.com, very, wayfair, mankind, Game and ebay (nothing in my area - Essex).

Does anyone have any ideas on where next to search? It didn't even occur to me that they'd be out of stock practically everywhere

Thanks but looks like only the junior models near me. Am so annoyed at Argos showing loads- but none actually available! I've clearly left my shopping too late.

Thanks nanasue but all the ones that sit on the floor are out of stock. The only in stock ones are the children's size which he will grow out of. So frustrating!

@Queuing4Fergs I’ve spent a long time looking at gaming chairs and eventually bought a gaming chair yesterday from BraZen, a UK company that gets good reviews for a relatively I expensive brand (bought on Amazon) I’m not sure if they do floor rocker ones mind you.

I’ve just bought one- boysstuff brazen gaming chair, just got prestock looks good, hopefully delivered tmrw

Thanks @jedstre I'll take a look. Xrocker was the brand he is pining for but he'll no doubt be happy with any decent brand

I'm willing to pay almost anything at this point . Brazen don't seem to do the floor rocker style. I've found a seller on ebay who seems to be claiming to sell new chairs in the design I want but that they 'may show signs of wear and tear and have marks' Have messaged to ask for photos...

BraZen definitely do floor rockers!!

@Queuing4Fergs I totally feel your pain as after the same thing and brought this off the Spanish Amazon site which said 3-5 days delivery. Same position here for my ds. He's 10. We also want a rocker style one. Also in Essex!
I wish I'd have bought one when he showed me wanted he wanted weeks ago. I've been looking at loads just hasn't got round to checking it out. It's his present from Santa so I have to come up with the goods!
Did they suddenly all go out of stock on Friday? I'm sure they were in stock up till then? What happened? What did I miss?

I had the same problem OP - it looks like they’ve stopped making the ones that rock on the floor. I eventually got one in Argos but had to check the stock in every store within a 30 mile radius of me.

Thanks to all. I was just about to pay over the odds on ebay but thought I'd check Argos one last time and SUCCESS!

Got the ones I wanted for collection at my local store.

For anyone in a similar position, it's worth checking Argos every couple of days just in case they come back into stock

@Queuing4Fergs same here! I got one (not the one he wanted but close enough) from my local store and picked up a different one for ds2 at a different store. That all got a bit scary. Wish I had shares in x rocker.

Way too much stress for a chair I don't want them sitting on for hours on end anyway

Huge demand might be due to all the WFH people who got equipment allowances buying up the gaming chairs - literally hundreds of my colleagues have done this
