DeathMetalMum · 26/11/2020 20:45

Just looking for some ideas for stockings. We already have a few things but looking for a bit of inspiration. I'll list what we have got incase it gives anyone else some ideas.

Toothbrush
Magic flannel
Sweets/Chocolate
Things for drawing
Pokemon cards
Magic set for dd2
3D puzzle (middle isle in lidl for dd2)
Fluffy socks
Washi tape (dd1)
Double sided sticky tape (dd2)

Need to add a refill of kinetic sand too.

What do others have in theirs? They both have a new book so have something to read. I feel like I'm missing a few little toys or things to keep them busy for a couple of hours particularly dd1. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Insertfunnyname · 26/11/2020 21:14

Pants
Socks
Deogrant
Tub of pringles
Cereal I wouldn't usually buy - lucky charms, reeces

WoWsers16 · 26/11/2020 21:58

I always put a clementine in too - random tradition!

Clementine
Chocolate Gold coins
Mug/ cup
Stationary
Chocolate Santa
Socks

To be honest it's normally any if they're presents small enough to fit in xx

DeathMetalMum · 27/11/2020 10:18

Thanks all some great ideas. Lego dots we have done as well I forgot to add! They also have tonnes of stationary and hair accessories.

I always had a clementine in my stocking but they don't like them!
I like the mug idea so will probably get those. I also found some good deals on the Claire's website last night loads of stuff half price. I got a purse each and a dress up set for dd2. I also got an umbrella each for their grandad to give them too, but it was only £5 so could be a good stocking filler idea.

Do people wrap their stocking presents or just place them in the stocking? X

mama4321 · 02/12/2020 11:41

@WoWsers16 Santa uses the cheap wrapping silver foil here. No sellotape needed - very quick to do (especially good if Santa is disorganised and doing it in the middle of the night on the 24th ), and recyclable afterwards.

RoseZinfandel · 02/12/2020 12:03

My 9 year old has
Big Dorling Kindersly book about space.
Coloured pens
Calendar with stickers
Lego snowball fight
Watermelon sweets
Iced decorated gingerbread biscuit
Hot chocolate sachets
White chocolate orange
Pink grapefruit and sachet of brown sugar (for retro Xmas day breakfast)

Lazysundayafternoons · 02/12/2020 12:11

@WoWsers16

I wrap the stocking fillers except for the really small things like selection box, chocolate, bath bombs
