2 player board games

My husband and I are going to be on our own this Christmas for the first time ever, and I'm actually quite excited! I'm looking for a good board game that works well for only two players, that we can play together in the afternoon whilst munching Christmas goodies! Any suggestions please lovely folk?

Century: Spice Road works well with 2. Its also reasonably priced on Zatu and scales up well.

We like Citadel and Patchwork.

I've bought pandemic this year. After seeing it reccomended for years, I decided 2020 just had to be the year we get it 😉

We like Boggle & have bought one called What Came First for this year which looks like it will be good fun
