Want to make a proper tradition of this now we have 2 children (3y and 2m). So far I've got:
Xmas activity book for toddler
Chocolate
Matching PJs
Night before Xmas book (which we have every year)

Doesn't seem much point getting a dvd when you can stream anything you want to watch.

What else do you guys include?

DD1 is 4 years old and DD2 is 2 months old.
I got DD1: fluffy socks, lush bath bomb, activity book from poundland, paint your own Christmas tree, a Christmas mug, sachet of hot chocolate, a tube of smarties, a Christmas book and pyjamas.

DD2: pyjamas, baby sensory book, a rattle, fluffy socks, a mug too as a keep sake.

We have a family one containing;

Pjs
Christmas dvds
Christmas books
Hot chocolate & treats
Maybe baileys / mulled wine

Mugs
Bath stuff

Everything is re-used every year unless new pjs are needed.
Usually we'd have our cosy night with the box on the 23rd as Christmas Eve we usually go to my mums for dinner then church so it's too late when we get in. This year I don't expect the church service to be on.

My box has the following:

Xmas PJ's
Book - Grinch, DD watched movie like 20 times already this year
Chocolate
Bath bombs
Santa hat/antlers headband
Colouring book n pencils
Advent calemder
Xmas mugs - I've got new this year
A few nice food bits
Fluffy socks
Footner for me
A nice desk tidy for dh

Tree is going up Saturday so Sunday morning the box will have appeared under the tree. The box then lasts through december.

DS doesn’t get a Christmas Eve box but he does get new PJs, a bath bomb and a tube of sweets if we’re not having a party (like this year of course). If we are, he won’t have time for a bath and he’ll have eaten enough sugar, so it’s just the PJs.

Not exactly a Christmas eve box, but I'm doing Christmas tree day box this year. So the day the tree goes up (next weekend) the elves are going to leave a box with goodies in for all of December (I never saw the point in things for one night of the year). We'll be getting:
Pj's
Snacks
New Christmas socks
Bath scrunchies
Father Christmas bath mit for DS
2 Christmas books
Cookie cutters so we can make cookies throughout the month
A new tree decoration
And potentially a few more bits and bobs.
Then on Christmas eve we'll have a smaller box with paints and a paper plate to make a plate for the mince pie and carrot and some fancy hot chocolate to have before bed.

Ours has:

Santa sacks
Reindeer food
Hot chocolate
Booze
Magic santa key
Christmas plate
Cheese/crackers

I may add some bath bombs or similar but I think ours are pretty much done. I usually pop some hot chocolate in too but we're going to set up a hot chocolate station this year.
