Just wondering what is popular this year, I have two teens, I’d like something that will get them off their gadgets for a while.

We think Labyrinth is the best board game over. People of all ages can play it . It requires strategy and is great fun as each person causes the board to realign when they have their go. To play well requires skill which teens will enjoy.
Triominoes requires a lot of brain power and gets harder as more pieces are put down.

My teen loves one night ultimate werewolf, great fun. Not a board game though.

An app on your phone does the commentary while you all close your eyes.
You all choose a card before you go to sleep and depending on what you have you might be the werewolf or a different role.
The app calls out the roles and you wake up on your turn and do the action whilst everyone else is sleeping. Everyone then wakes up and you have to figure out who the werewolf is, of course they will deny/try to lie etc. I really recommend, need three or more to play, better with more than 3 though.
Spyfall is a great one too.

Cockroach poker
Secret hitler

Boardgamegeek is a very useful website for reviews and ideas. Have a look at:

Smash Up
King of Tokyo
Escape from the aliens in outer space
Stuff and Nonsense

@MrJinxyCat - I have bought the werewolf game for DS - sounds really good!

Ticket to ride is good. Also got a zombie version of Risk which is good for teens.
