I couldn't find a recent thread so thought I'd start one - please redirect me if I've missed it!
Can people share how they make their homes festive for Christmas? Especially feral toddler friendly ideas?! Pinterest pics look amazing, but possibly due to the sheer volume of the decorations, I cant work out what makes it look so good!
Here's what I have in case anyone else has feral toddlers!
- Felt xmas tree with velcro baubles (a real labour of handmade love last year when my brain worked better)
- Battery operated string lights which I'm pretty sure could be more effective if I considered their position better
- Festive cushions, blankets, door stops
- Battery operated flickering candles
- Garlands (yet to be hung, handmade in years past from felt)
- One very small poinsettia
I still cant work out what to do about a tree. Last year I had it blocked off by the playpen, but my almost 2 year old is ludicrously strong and beyond all reason.
Any ideas gratefully received!!
