Best aftershaves?

Looking to get DH a new aftershave, what are others buying this year? Previous hits have been YSL L’Homme and Dior Sauvage (but he does go overboard spraying it on so that was sometimes overwhelming!)

I love Chanel Allure Home Sport.

I second the Chanel suggestion.

For the men in my life I've bought

Joop- Absolute
Versace -:The dreamer
D&G The one- Grey

My favourite of the 3 has to be Joop Absolute ( black bottle). Sensuous and intoxicating.

Creed Aventus is in regular rotation by DH and I always like it when he wears it

Gucci Guilty is gorgeous

Thank you for the suggestions, I wish the shops were open so I could go and have a smell of them all. I think I have heard the Chanel one recommended before so will give that one a try.

The Tom Ford one is grown up, distinctive, it's just fab.

Bleu de Chanel is pretty nice too

What aftershaves does he have now that he likes? Are you buying a new one just for something new. You could play safe and get something with similar notes? Have a look here www.fragrantica.com/ and put the aftershave name it, it will tell you the main accords and the notes.

Boots are open and most of the larger stores have an extensive perfume and aftershave section.

My ds is 17 and he loves aftershave as his dad is obsessed and has over 100 bottles.
He buys ds aftershave on every occasion and the nicest ones have been Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Paco Rabanne One Million and Caroline Herrera 212 and 212 sexy.

There are so many nice ones though and I agree with the pp over Chanel Allure sport.

I’ve bought ds Dior Sauvage and Hugo Boss dark night for Christmas.

@hesaidshesaidwhat thank you that website is great. His all time favourite is YSL L’Homme. I like to get him something different and usually a bottle of his favourite too or one for his birthday (not long after Christmas). Bleude Chanel seems to have similar notes so may go for that.
For some reason I had it in my head Boots would have the fragrance section closed off! Don’t ask me why! I will try to pop in and try these suggestions, thank you
