1 player games?

A bit of a odd one. Dd2 has ASD and will not play a board game with dd1 and I but likes board games (playing with the bits on her own), she loves puzzle solving, maths, scrabble etc..

Is there such thing as a 1 player board game, something similar to rush hour or a maths/strategy game? She has loads of puzzles and a rubix cube.

Also looking for a 2 played board game for dd1 and I to play (she’s 16)? Most games seem to work better with 3 or more players and end too quickly with just 2. Any ideas?

The Boardgamegeek website is a great resource. Some of the new wave of worker placement games have a solo option, and are quite strategic. Or would she like all out strategy games like Backgammon or Go?

addictaball is good

She’s not good with sounds (very sensitive to them), we had a amazaball but she took it apart after getting frustrated with it 🤣. Too many pieces is a no go as she tends to loose things or break things.

Colorku is amazing, my 8yo, 11yo and 13yo all love it and so do I, the hard ones are really hard! It’s sudoku but with wooden coloured balls, lovely sensory input as well!

Also Katamino for the same reason.
Any of the smart games puzzles are nice too.

Oh and yes to Simon, or Bop It/Silly Sausage if you don’t mind the noise!
