I bought sausage rolls for many years but I made them last year and plan to do so this year. That said, I have bought frozen ouff pastry and my sausage meat is also frozen. I plan to make them and freeze them without cooking them first so I am going to have to defrost the pastry and tge meat, put the sausage rolls together and then refreeze. I really ought to know the answer to this but am I right in thinking that by doing this I risk food poisoning because the meat will have been defrosted and then refrozen? If so, I will have to think again
