Tiny turkey

What is the smallest turkey crown I will be able to get and can I brine it? We never ever have turkey and haven't since I was about 10 but my mother secretly confessed she does like it and always said she didn't bless her.

But it will realistically only be her and maybe dds who have any. She'll have sarnies/leftovers/bits for the freezer of course but I want these to be as minimal as poss.

Could you not just get some turkey breasts - Tesco do them. Or some kind of pre-made turkey roll?

Maybe have a chat with a local butcher, ours is very good at just giving you the right amount for what you need. We have a box with a small Turkey rolled joint, sausages, stuffing and bacon.

I know he also does half and half, with two small joints of different meats for families who don't like the same thing.

Oh that is a good idea re the butcher box. I need a pork roast plus some sausages/bacon. We have a lovely farm shop so I'll ask them.
