Any idea when this might come back into stock?

How long is a piece of string ?

Are you keeping an eye on sites such as stockinformer?

Are you talking about x box or PlayStation?

X box is series X I think and it’s the PS5.

Stock informer is a good place to start. Otherwise trying the stores on release date.

@whitetilesmurf - there is series S and series X. Already been released but not back in stock yet.

Sign up to stock informer. I managed to get one yesterday afternoon while I was working - a Series S - because the alert popped up to tell me it was in stock at Very and I clicked on it and ordered straight away. If I'd have left it even half an hour it would have been out of stock again, so atm you're def going to have to use an alert system to get one I think. If not, keep an eye out around Black Friday - I think Amazon might get more in then.

I'm trying to get one as well. Will have a look at stock informer, never knew that existed.

There is currently one showing in stock at my local Currys but it won't let me add it to my basket. Support says it's reserved but not collected yet, so hoping the person won't bother as if I'm so lucky

Delivery will be after xmas but it's still showing as in stock.

Just ordered from there after alert. Says 8 December for delivery, but main site said end of December. Fingers crossed it'll be sooner.

I am pretty surprised that MS haven't made sure they have enough consoles in for Christmas, or - it seems like - anything like it. It's not like they go off, why not overproduce rather than under? We're 8 days past release and already looking at none available for Christmas.

Thanks Meeko.....just ordered from there. It says delivery on 9th Dec. We are in Ireland but it still accepted order. My twin boys (14yr ) will be over the moon as they have been trying to source a preorder but couldn't and has resigned themselves to waiting until Birthday next August! Hope it is a legitimate website but it looks safe enough.

The one I ordered direct from Microsoft on 18 November that gave two dates 8/12 and after Christmas arrived today! So thrilled. Hope everyone manages to get one.

I'm afraid I just got an email from Microsoft saying they are cancelling my order. I'm gutted.....back to searching again😔

@AnSionnachGlic There were some available on the Smyths website yesterday. I had a quick look there and there appear to be 4 left in Cork for click and collect. Not sure where you are but even if you knew a cork person who could pick it up for you it might be an option?

Thanks Blogdog.....did check out Smyths website. I'm in Galway and saw 4 in stock yesterday for cluck and collect, but didn't think I needed it! Checked again today and all gone. Will keep checking in......it's so stressful😫

Are x box s and x box two different consoles out just now?

@nancybotwinbloom yes, they were released a few weeks ago and are in short supply. The Xbox S is a slimmed down version of the Xbox X with no disc player. It’s nearly impossible to buy an X at the moment but there are a few S versions still around.

I finally managed to get one in Currys.....my dd's friend is working there for Christmas, and tipped her off that they had 2 in stock ( behind the counter!). My 2 boys will be v happy on Christmas morning 😃

We're on a waiting list for the S, we've been given the date of 18th for it.
