Bundle of Books for my mum

I want to buy a bundle of books for my mum. I’m not going to see her so it needs to be delivered. Previously I’ve bought from Book People or Amazon but just read on another thread about Chestnut Books. Where someone will put a selection together. Is there anything like that for adults?

There's a website called 'A Box of Stories' where you can select a box of books based on a theme/genre e.g. historical fiction, easy readers, non fiction, etc.

The way the company works is that they buy up stock of all the 4-5* rated books which never make it into the bestsellers list/bookstores, so the bonus is you're unlikely to be sent something the recipient has ever read before. It also means all those books are no longer consigned to landfill, despite being really good reads, which is nice.

That’s perfect! Thanks so much

Jumping in to say that sounds excellent, I might get one for myself!

For official collections of books, though I think the idea above is better than that, you could try the Works.

They're also very reasonably priced. I was so pleased with the one-off gift boxes I bought that I decided to take out a monthly subscription for myself Smile
