Has anyone bought their DC a tamagotchi recently? Dd is 7 and had asked for one after playing with her older friends one.
Just had a look and they are £15!.
I wouldn't normally give in as I know she will forget about it in a few weeks but it's one of the only things she has asked for.

Where have you found tamagotchis I really want one. So yeh I'd buy her one.

They have them in home bargains for a few pounds.

MIL found a 20 yr old one in her mums house the other week. Still in the packaging!

Depending on which one, she could sell it for between £100 and £400. Probably the lower end though as it's only a few very rare ones that go for more.

Ha I saw a tamagotchi in a toy shop around my way before lockdown. I was so surprised they are still a thing, I had one in primary school 25 years ago 😂I feel fucking OLD AS FUCK writing that.

Anyway it was about a tenner back in those days and they used to sell the cheap fake ones for about a fiver.

You have literally made my day, I nearly bought one a few years ago but it was imported from Japan and cost £50 so I couldn't justify it. Going to order one now and it'll be here for when I finish my weekend nights. Next week the kids dogs and husband are getting neglected for a tamagotchi.
